Summer Ketchup, School Started, and Such

Raleigh turned twelve this summer.  She thinks she has "arrived" in life.  Well . . . she has!  The girls at church decorated her room and made a fun poster for her.

Mom and Dad's home after the foundation was poured (and after we went peach-picking).  I am SO happy for them and their new adventure!

Swimming with sisters!

Kensington is a clever, clever girl.

Choobers and I got to spend her birthday together working downtown at the Apparel Mart.  It was her first time modeling there, and she LOVED it.  Then she got to come home and celebrate . . .

Dallas and the girls made her quite the cake with Oreos and everything!  She loved it and felt so special.  We love our Kensington.

Then a few weeks later it was Emery's birthday.  Our friends the Clarkes came by just as we were about to sing to her, so the timing was just right!  Her she is with her Rice Krispie-Oreo cake (bleh!!).

At least she loved it.

These next two pictures crack me up.  I made the girls an after-school snack on the first day of school with a note beneath.  I remember feeling so organized and domestic.  It was the first and last time I've done that this school year.  Hee hee!

Natalie discovered "babies," and she laughed and laughed about playing with one.  It was precious.

Kensington made a "Frozen" castle out of this tray and had a marvelous time.

Madeline rediscovered her favorite after-school study spot.

That's all for now.
